Used Kites for Sale

Trips in Brief

To give you an example of the trips completed and planned...

In April 2006 we completed the 110km Juneau, Alaska to Atlin, BC traverse by kite - a first! Read the Kiwi's article on Biglines >>

In April 2007, we basecamped for two weeks under the shadow of Mount Logan. Kiting right out the front door of our wall tent and skiing lines that have probably never been skied before. Trip photos >>

For 2008, we are discussing with Ozone Kites to hold their annual distributors meeting here in the Yukon. Giving the crew a taste of the goods the Yukon has to offer.

THE KITE YUKON STORY

Kite Yukon is a newly formed company with the goal to provide tailor-made snow-kiting instruction and backcountry expeditions here in the far north.

When we moved to Whitehorse we were blown away by the endless kiting opportunities in the region. We were the first to kite here on a regular basis. I guess you could say the pioneers of the sport in the Yukon. The local kiting community continues to grow, with riders of all levels getting involved. We now want to share our playground with all you other kite junkies. Kite Yukon is our vehicle, our voice to spread the word.

We continue to explore this vast region to find those breathtaking spots very few people will ever enjoy.

If you are interested in kiting courses or expeditions please contact us by email to discuss trip ideas.
